The
University of Scouting is a fun learning experience offered
to Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing Leaders, Boy Scout
Junior Leaders, and District and Council Leaders. Participants
attend the courses they choose in any program. This experience
broadens a persons understanding and knowledge of
the Scouting program through a variety of course sessions
on specific topics taught by experienced volunteers from
our council. Courses are filled on a first-come basis.
It will be held at Everman High School in Everman on Saturday,
November 10th.The
doors open at 8:00 am for registration, sign-in, and packet
pick-ups. Opening ceremony begins at 8:45 am so sessions
will begin promptly at 9:00 am.
There are classes for Cub Scouters, Boy Scouters, Venturers,
District and Council volunteers. There is something for
everyone! New classes have been added and the favorites
are still there.
