Join us for an inspiring evening at the Arlington Silver Eagle Dinner, an annual celebration supporting Longhorn Council, Scouting America. This special event brings together community leaders, dedicated volunteers, and supporters of Scouting to recognize outstanding achievements and invest in the next generation of leaders. Your participation helps empower youth in North and Central Texas by funding transformative experiences, leadership development programs, and outdoor adventures that instill values of character, citizenship, and service.
This year, we are honored to recognize Sam Mahrouq with the Silver Eagle Award. Sam's inspiring journey from Amman, Jordan, to founding Mahrouq Enterprises International (MEI) is a testament to determination and entrepreneurial vision. After arriving in the U.S. in 1985, he pursued higher education at Oklahoma State University and the University of Texas at Arlington, where he earned his business degree. In 1991, he launched MEI with a single car lot, AutoMax Sales, later expanding into a diverse network spanning automotive, finance, technology, insurance, and real estate. Beyond business, Sam, along with his wife Rania and their four children, is deeply committed to giving back, championing community involvement and corporate responsibility.
