Join us for an inspiring afternoon at the Wise County Good Scout Of The Year Luncheon, an annual celebration supporting Longhorn Council, Scouting America. This special event brings together community leaders, dedicated volunteers, and supporters of Scouting to recognize outstanding achievements and invest in the next generation of leaders. Your participation helps empower youth in North and Central Texas by funding transformative experiences, leadership development programs, and outdoor adventures that instill values of character, citizenship, and service.
This year, we are honored to recognize the Wise County Historical Commission for its dedication to preserving history through the refurbishment of the Wise County Courthouse. This restoration stands as a testament to the county’s commitment to honoring its rich heritage while embracing progress for future generations. Under the leadership of County Judge J.D. Clark, Wise County has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to community development and historical preservation. Representing the county, Judge Clark will accept this award on behalf of the residents and leaders who have worked tirelessly to maintain the legacy of Wise County.
